Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026.

What this site does. Bridegroom Services is a wedding coordination service. Submitting a form on this site is a request, not a booking: no venue, supplier, date or price is reserved until a human coordinator confirms it to you in writing and you approve it in writing.

Payments. We only ever take two payments: a planning deposit, which secures your coordinator, starts work on your written plan and is deducted from our coordination fee; and our coordination fee, as shown on its own line in the written plan you approved. Payments are taken by Stripe on its secure payment page — we never see or store card numbers. We never take payments on behalf of venues or suppliers: you pay them directly, under their own contracts.

Your right to cancel. Our agreement starts when you pay the planning deposit. Until we send you your written plan, you can cancel at any time, without giving a reason, and the deposit is refunded in full. If we cannot take on your date, the deposit is refunded in full. Once we have sent your written plan, you can still cancel within 14 days of paying the deposit, without giving a reason; we may keep a proportionate amount for the work already done, and we tell you that amount in writing first. After that, the deposit is not refundable, except where the law says otherwise. Every refund is made within 14 days of you telling us, to the card you paid with.

The coordination fee. You pay it only after approving your written plan. You can cancel within 14 days of paying it, on the same terms: a full refund, less a proportionate amount for any work you asked us to do in those 14 days, which we tell you in writing first. Supplier bookings follow each supplier's own cancellation terms, which we show you before you approve them.

How to cancel. Tell us clearly — through our contact page or by replying to your coordinator — and quote your booking reference. You may use this wording, but you don't have to: “I cancel my contract with Bridegroom Services for the coordination of [your day], booked on [date]. Name: … Reference: BG-…”.

Prices. Every figure we show is labelled: a rough planning benchmark (guidance only, never a quote), a public price, or a written quote from a named supplier. Our coordination fee is always itemised as its own line in your written plan, before you agree to anything; any commission a venue pays us is disclosed to you.

Venue register. Register entries are drawn from official council registers and public sources, each labelled with its source. Licensing changes — always confirm current licensing with the venue or the council's live register before relying on it.

Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Contracts for venues and suppliers are made with those businesses on their terms; we coordinate but are not a party to them unless our written plan says otherwise.

Complaints. Tell us first through our contact page — a human reads every message and replies within one working day. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
